Description

Rhebokskloof Estate’s wine farm is a combination of agricultural and indigenous fynbos, positioned uniquely as an amphitheatre, with north-east-and south-west-facing slopes, which comprise of rich decomposed granite soils.

Presently, 36 ha of vineyards have been planted on Rhebokskloof, with a selection of trellis vines and bush vines, creating diversity in the choice of style of wine.

Rhebokskloof Estate lies within the folds of Paarl Mountain in a secluded valley that is predominantly northeast and northwest-facing, with some vineyards planted as high as 340 m above sea level.

We are known for our excellent Rhone-style varietals and blends, specialising in Shiraz, while also creating outstanding Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc. Our main goal is to showcase our unique terroir by preserving as much of our grapes’ natural fruit aromas and character as possible. We meticulously craft every wine with a very strong emphasis on expression, complexity, and balance. There’s a reason why our wines continue to achieve many awards every year.

Guests visiting Rhebokskloof can enjoy two fantastic wine-tasting options in our classic Dutch Gable cellar, on the lawns or terrace, all overlooking the lake surrounded by the mountain slopes. For just R50, we offer a selection of five wines, and for just R100, you can indulge in a one-of-a-kind chocolate and wine pairing of five wines with handcrafted chocolates made and found only at our estate.
