The home of Niel Joubert Wines is located on the slopes of the Simonsberg mountain, on the outskirts of Paarl in the Western Cape Winelands. It is a sizable wine and fruit farm with breathtaking landscapes, five hills, and ten dams that are nourished by a natural mountain spring.
The Joubert family, trained horticulturists and wine growers has owned the farm since 1898 and has continued to administer it personally into the fifth generation.
As a result of their dedication to high-quality production and pride in their accomplishments, the wine brand was given the name Niel Joubert Wines in 1994 in honour of the third-generation patriarch and father of the present owner, Daan Joubert.
