Cathedral Cellar this spring to experience 100 Years in 100 Minutes
Established in 1918 by local wine farmers, KWV (Ko-operatiewe Wijnbouwers Vereniging van Zuid-Afrika) has been part of South Africa’s wine culture for over a century and their journey is much like the arrival of spring; steadily transforming over time while staying deeply connected to its roots. You’ve likely seen them grow and adapt just as you have — from producing the first commercial brandy in 1926 to honouring the pioneer of Pinotage in 2006 with the release of The Mentors range. KWV has continuously brought something fresh to the table. As we celebrate this season of renewal, KWV stands as a symbol of South African heritage that continues to thrive, year after year, spring after spring.
